What is the cost to attend?

There is no charge to attend. Parking is $10 per car and $20 for small buses. There is no onsite parking for buses or boats.

Where do I park and how much does it cost?

Parking is available in the lots on the boathouse side of the park on Clarks Bridge Road. Daily parking is $10 per car. Parking passes may be purchased online in advance or you may pay cash at the gate. Click here to purchase a parking pass.  Please be prepared with exact change. Credit cards are not accepted at the gate. Boats are welcome to watch on the water; docks are not available at the park.

Are tickets required to attend race events?

Tickets are not required for the Opening Ceremony or race events at Lake Lanier Olympic Park. The Closing Ceremony After Party at the Arts Council Depot is a ticketed event, which includes a BBQ dinner plate and concert. Tickets are $20 per person and available for purchase online. Can I bring my own chair?

Yes. chairs and blankets are allowed

Are coolers allowed?

No outside food or drink is allowed at the Venue during the events

Can I bring my pet?

Pets are allowed but must be on a leash.

Is food available to purchase?

Yes. Food will be available from food truck vendors

Which countries are attending the world championship?

Armenia, Bangladesh, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Philippines, Russia, Switzerland, Ukraine, USA

Will there be security at the event?

Yes. Local, state and federal law enforcement will be on site to secure the park for the event. Be prepared to go through typical stadium-type security screening when you arrive, including a bag check. No firearms, weapons, coolers or large bags are allowed. 

Is there handicapped access?

Yes. Lake Lanier Olympic Park and the Tower Plaza are completely ADA accessible. Designated parking near the Clarks Bridge Road Tunnel is available for handicapped patrons. There will also be a designated area at the top of the plaza for handicapped seating. The lower plaza is also accessible for those wishing to sit closer to the water by using our accessibility ramp.

Is smoking allowed at the park?

No. Lake Lanier Olympic Park is a smoke free facility.
