Join us to celebrate four days of competition at the 2018 ICF Dragon Boat World Championships! The opening and closing ceremonies will be evenings of celebration you don’t want to miss.

The event begins at 6 p.m. and features headliner, Craig A. Meyer, multiple award winning, multi-talented singer/actor/pianist, starring in Remember When Rock Was Young – The Elton John Tribute. Other evening activities include, the Parade of Athletes, Pan-Asian dances and a variety of thrilling entertainment.
Come early and stay late to celebrate Gainesville-Hall County being the first location in the Americas to host this world-renowned competition. Food trucks and Tap It will be onsite with food, beer and wine for purchase beginning at 5 p.m.
5 p.m.- Food Truck Fun (Food Trucks and beverages from Tap It available for purchase)
6 p.m.- Opening Ceremonies Begin
No charge to attend – there will be a $10 parking fee (multi-day parking passes will be available for returning to the competitions Thurs-Sunday)
Seat cushions will be available for purchase – you can bring your own chairs if you prefer
No outside food or drink will be allowed
